4 Attitudes that Hinder Service

Romans 12:1 – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
 
Acquiring volunteers to serve in your church isn’t always the easiest thing to accomplish; in fact, it can quickly become frustrating and stressful.  Busyness and overloaded schedules add to the difficulties, but often the deciding factor when it comes to service stems from our heart condition.  


6 Qualities of a Servant Leader

Matthew 20:25-27 – “But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.  But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:”

John 13:4,5 – “He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.  After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.”
